Hi y’all! We’re Lauren Bonney and Lily Williams — the co-founders, creatives, and chaos-coordinators behind L & L Decor and we are so excited you’re here!

We started this business with one big dream: to make beautiful, stylish interior design accessible to everyday people. You shouldn’t have to win the lottery (or drain your savings!) to have a space you love coming home to. That’s the heart behind everything we do — and it's what sparked our journey from design students to small business owners.

Picture this: two college sophomores, sitting in the back of their classes, whispering ideas between lectures and scribbling notes in the margins of our notebooks (yes, we were those students).

During our college internships, we kept seeing the same issue over and over: interior design was expensive. Like, really expensive. The kind of expensive that made it out of reach for most people — the young couple furnishing their first home, the new mom trying to create a cozy nursery, the small business owner wanting to spruce up a shop on a tight budget. It didn’t feel right.

So we thought… why not do it differently?

We didn’t have investors or a fancy office (we had coffee shops and kitchen tables), but we did have passion and Pinterest boards full of inspiration. We launched with a single Facebook ad offering affordable design help — and to our surprise (and maybe a few happy tears), people responded.

Fast-forward two years, and that little idea we dreamt up during class has turned into something much bigger. We've helped dozens of clients reimagine their homes, offices, and special spaces — always with style, always within budget.

We truly believe that good design shouldn't feel exclusive. It shouldn’t come with a hefty price tag or intimidating consultations. It should feel fun, fresh, and totally you.

That’s why we tailor every project to the client, working with your style, your needs, and your budget — whether it's a one-room refresh or a full-home makeover. We mix high and low, vintage and new, and always keep things practical, personal, and polished.

Now that we've officially hit the two-year mark (can we get a confetti cannon?!), we’re ready to share more with you — the good, the beautiful, and sometimes, the messy middle of the design process.

This blog is where we’ll spill behind-the-scenes stories from our projects, share decorating tips you can actually use, and hopefully inspire you to see the potential in your own space. Whether you're a DIY decorator or just dreaming of a refresh, we hope you'll find something here to love.
